Our Values

(John 13:34,35)

Our relationship with God through Christ empowers us to love and develop relationships with others, through the love we have already received from the Father (1 John 4:19). We seek to grow in knowledge of and faith in God, through worship, scripture, and prayer, in the context of a community that values sanctification and accountability. Our desire for true worship fuels our heart for missions and evangelism in local and global communities. As children who experience transformation through Christ, we actively seek to become disciples and make disciples out of full dependence on God.

(2 Corinthians 3:18)

We believe that the power to change comes from God alone and not from ourselves. As we place our identity in Christ, we seek to align every aspect of ourselves and our lives with the truth of the Gospel. We let go of seeking significance and worth from our own efforts and cling to God’s promises and loving acceptance He already offers. One of the ways God makes us more like Christ while cultivating our individual uniqueness is through relationships. We are challenged to disciple in our own community, our church’s youth ministries, and on the mission field.

(Matthew 9:37,38)

As people transformed by the Gospel, we understand that the Good News is not simply for our own good, but we live to see this truth working for good in the lives of others and in the brokenness of this world. Jesus’ ministry was one of word and deed, and he proclaimed that His disciples would be witnesses even to the very corners of the earth. We recognize that a missional church seeks to meet the needs of communities both near and far by collaborating with partners who are committed to building sustainable ministries.
